Tucson Gaelic Institute
Since 1983 this Institute for the preservation of the Scottish Gaelic language has been featured in newspapers, radio and television. The Institute is the foremost Gaelic school in the Southwest United States. Muriel has personally instructed over 700 students. She has collaborated with many individuals engaged in Gaelic projects such as: university curricula, instructional manuals and various translations. Muriel is frequently requested to speak for organizations and groups such as: Scottish societies, schools, Scottish games and others. She has personally developed a most effective method of teaching Gaelic as evidenced by her extensive experience and the success of her students.
