Just as a bit of background, I (Muriel) am a native speaker who grew up on the Isle of Skye and have been teaching Gaelic for 20 years. I teach in many environments including Sabhal Mor Ostaig, the University of Arizona, Pima Community College, An Comunn Gaidhealach - America and privately.
My preferred method is to get people speaking the language, immediately, and let the details of grammar, etc. fall into place slowly and painlessly as students advance.

(a beginning level integrated package that consists of)

1. A 22 page TEXTBOOK with vocabulary and examples of sentence construction.
2. 3 CDs for learning perfect pronunciation.
3. A 40 page WORKBOOK with practice sentences.
Each page in the TEXTBOOK has a corresponding track on the CDs and a page in the WORKBOOK, so you can work through the material in manageable "bites".
LEVEL 1 is equivalent to approximately 4 months of Scottish Gaelic instruction.
This package is unique because every word and sentence in the textbook is read on the CDs. This method will allow you to learn the rules of pronunciation in a natural fashion without having to rely on phonetic guides, etc.
Further LEVELS of study are currently in production.
In addition, I also offer distance learning via e-mail and/or telephone. We can have a wee chat or I can help with your writing practice. This can be specialized to meet your particular learning needs. Individuals and groups can be served.
